Meetings and Executive Retreats

Seagulls at Pauatahanui offers a first class meeting venue close to Wellington, the Hutt Valley and Porirua cities - far removed from city office distractions.

Overlooking the Pauatahanui Wildlife Reserve and historic village at the head of the beautiful Inlet, Seagulls is a well appointed meeting facility for staff retreats, executive planning, board, committee and team meetings, training courses, business functions, seminars, workshops and product launches.

This modern business meeting venue offers the latest audio visual presentation equipment, high speed broadband connectivity, and teleconferencing facilities. Meeting rooms enjoy water and rural views, natural light from floor to ceiling windows, and sheltered decks for breakout sessions or for relaxing.

Meeting Rooms

Three rooms are available for hire:

  •  Kotuku (5 X 5 .5 metres) accommodates up to 10 people boardroom style
  •  Kotare  (5.5 X 5.5 metres) has tables for group work or break out sessions
  •  Kereru (12.5 X  5.5 metres) accommodates up to 20 people boardroom style

Kitchen and bathroom facilities adjoin each meeting room.

Costs

Venue hire: $300 per day or $225 per half day (includes Kotare and Kotuku rooms)
                  $400 per day or $325 per half day (includes Kereru, Kotare and Kotuku rooms)

Meeting equipment:

Data projector and screen (Kotuku) $150 per day
Electronic whiteboard $110 per day
Photocopier 20c per sheet
Conference call telephone Normal toll charges apply
Flip chart paper $20 per pad
Flip chart stand x2 No charge
Wireless broadband No charge
Jotter pads/pens No charge

Other equipment hired on behalf of hirer at cost (prices available on request).  
All prices quoted above are GST exclusive.

Facilities

  • Parking available
  • Transport to/from venue can be arranged (taxi or minibus)
  • Facilitators -  names and contact details available on request
  • Dinner available for meeting attendees (and partners) by prior arrangement
  • Hirer free to bring own beverages to venue
  • Pauatahanui Lighthouse Theatre (5 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive from Seagulls) provides light evening meals by prior arrangement

Catering

Coffee/tea on arrival $5 per person
Morning and afternoon teas (coffee/tea/juice and freshly baked scones or pikelets and cookies) $10 per person
Working lunch - View menu options here $20 per person
Buffet lunch - View menu options here $25 per person
Charlie's orange juice $8 per 1 litre jug

Iced water and complimentary mints provided throughout the day.  Please advise special dietary requests at least two days prior to the event.
